Yahusha says "KEEP Turah!"

Yahusha says "Keep the TURAH!" (NOT Man-Made Doctrine)

Turah (Torah) is Abary (Hebrew) for Instruction, Teaching, Law, and Command

  • Yahusha was in the wilderness 40 days fasting and strove with ha Shatan (Satan) face-to-face! In order to rebuke him, what did He do? Yahusha quoted Turah! Yahusha quotes Dabarym (Deuteronomy) 8:3, 6:16, and 6:13, while Shatan made a couple quotes from Tahalym (Psalms) 91:11 and 12. The account is found in Matthew 4:1-10 and Luke 4:1-13. Then YAHUSHA was led up by the Ruahk into the wilderness to be tried by the devil. And after having fasted forty days and forty nights, He was hungry. And the trier came and said to Him, "If You are the Bahn of YAHUAH, command that these stones become bread." But He answering, said, "It has been written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of YAHUAH.' " Then the devil took Him up into the qadush city, put Him on the edge of the Maqadash, and said to Him, "If you are the Bahn of YAHUAH, throw Yourself down. For it has been written, 'He shall command His messengers concerning you, ' and, 'In their hands they shall bear you up, so that you do not dash your foot against a stone.' " YAHUSHA said to him, "It has also been written, 'You shall not try YAHUAH your Mighty One.' " Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain, and showed Him all the reigns of the world, and their esteem, and said to Him, "All these I shall give You if You fall down and worship me." Then YAHUSHA said to him, "Go, Shatan! For it has been written, 'You shall worship YAHUAH your Mighty One, and Him alone you shall serve.' " -Matthew 4:1-10

  • Yahusha teaches His followers some worthwhile matters regarding the Turah. For the entire context (because context is EXTREMELY important regarding Scripture) read Matthew 5:17-48. This is from verse 19: "Whoever, then, breaks the least of these Commands, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the reign of the shamym; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the reign of the shamym."

  • Yahusha is teaching on what is often called the "Golden Rule". This is referenced in Matthew 7:12. Did you know that He was actually quoting Turah when He gave that "Golden Rule"? Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Turah and the Nabyaym. Here, Yahusha is quoting Uyqara (Leviticus) 19: 18b And you shall love your neighbor as yourself.

  • Yahusha teaches that not all who claim to do things in His Name will be accepted. He then reveals what it is that He will say to those supposed believers. Not everyone who says to Me, 'Master, Master,' shall enter into the reign of the shamym, but he who is doing the desire of My Father in the shamym. Many shall say to Me in that day, 'Master, Master, have we not prophesied in Your Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and done many mighty works in Your Name?' And then I shall declare to them, 'I never knew you, depart from Me, you who work LAWLESSNESS!' -Matthew 7:21-23 (emphasis added) In the Greek manuscripts of this quote, the word for LAWLESSNESS is in its transliterated form "anomia" (G458). The Thayer's definition: 1. the condition of without law 2. contempt and violation of law; The Strong's definition: illegality, violation of law. The Abary word 'turah' is found in common English translations of Scripture as the "law". A more accurate translation of the word 'turah' is "instruction" or "teaching".

  • Yahusha was called blameless because according to the 'law' a.k.a. Turah, He was perfect! An example of His Turah-keeping is in His wearing of 'tsytsyt' also known as tassels. Matthew 9:20 reads And see, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the TSYTSYT of His garment. (emphasis added) The word found in common English translations of Scripture is "hem". Taking a deeper look, we find "hem" is an attempted translation of the Greek word "kraspedon" (G2899) The Thayer's defintion: 1C- a tassel, tuft: the Jews had such appendages attached to their mantles to remind them of the Law. Strong's definition: a margin, that is, (specifically) a fringe or tassel. This tassel being talked about is instructed to be worn according to Turah! It can be found in Dabarym (Deuteronomy) 22:12 and also Bamadabar (Numbers) 15:38-41a which reads: "Speak to the children of Yashar'al, and you shall say to them to make tsytsyt on the corners of their garments throughout the generations, and to put a blue cord in the tsytsyt of the corners. And it shall be to you for a tsytsyt, and you shall see it, and shall remember all the Commands of YAHUAH and shall do them, and not search after your own heart and your own eyes after which you went whoring, so that you remember, and shall do all My Commands, and qadush unto your Mighty One. I am YAHUAH your Mighty One."

  • Note the significance of Yahusha's tsytsyt even further. Yahusha, the Turah keeper! See Matthew 14:35, 36 and then Mark 6:56. And when the men of that place recognized Him, they sent out into all that surrounding country, and brought to Him all who were sick, and begged Him to let them only touch the tsytsyt of His garment. And as many as touched it were completely healed. Here is Mark's passage: And whenever He went, into villages, or cities, or the country, they were laying the sick in the marketplaces, and begged Him to let them touch if only the tsytsyt of His garment. And as many as touched Him were healed.

  • Yahusha continues to promote Turah, and in this next instance, guards the pure Turah Command from the man-made laws and traditions of man. The man-made traditions in question are found in Matthew chapter 15:2, 5, and 6 regarding washing hands before eating bread and being released from respecting parents. In this chapter Yahusha replies, Why do you also transgress the Command of the Almighty because of your tradition? (verse 3) He goes on to quote Yashayahu (Isaiah) at verse 9: But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as teachings the commands of men. On a quick side-note, I have heard some say Yahusha allows the eating of unclean foods because of what He is quoted to say at verse 17 and 18. Sadly, they did not pay note to the context of the chapter. Seeing that at verse 2 the topic is 'eating with hands unwashed' (a command NOT of Turah, therefore a man-made law), the context is portrayed and made complete with the plain-to-see final say on the matter by Yahusha at verse 19 and especially 20. Do you not understand that whatever enters into the mouth goes into the stomach, and is cast out in the sewer? But what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and these defile the man. For out of the heart come forth wicked reasonings, murders, adulteries, whorings, thefts, false witnesses, slanders. These defile the man, but TO EAT WITH UNWASHED HANDS DOES NOT DEFILE THE MAN. -Matthew 15:17-20 (Emphasis added) Now having the contextual understanding, see the parallel passage in Mark chapter 7. Here's a glimpse of the rebuke from Yahusha to the Pharisees and scribes: And He said to them, "Well do you put aside the Command of the Almighty, in order to guard your tradition." (verse 9) "...nullifying the Word of the Almighty through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such-like you do." (verse 13)

  • Yahusha quoted Turah to the devil's face in rebuke, but this was not the only time He quoted Turah as if it were some legitimate authority on matters. Matthew 18:16 is where Yahusha is recorded quoting Turah. But if he does not hear, take with you one or two more, that 'by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word might be established.' The Turah sources include Dabarym (Deuteronomy) chapter 17 verse 6; chapter 19 verse 15 and also Bamadabar (Numbers) 35:30.

  • When asked directly, "How do I gain eternal life?" Yahusha gives a list of things that one would need to have done. Would you believe that Yahusha quotes Turah as He answers this profoundly important question? Well, great news...He did! In THREE different accounts of this question being asked, Yahusha's answer resounds a pattern identical with the beyond-wise instructions of YAHUAH's Turah. Yahusha is promoting Turah! Account one of three: Matt. 19:16-21 And see, one came and said to Him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to have everlasting life?" And He said to him, "Why do you call Me good?" No one is good except One- the Almighty. But if you want to enter into life, guard the Commands." He said to Him, "Which?" And YAHUSHA said, " 'You shall not murder,' 'You shall not commit adultery,' 'You shall not steal,' 'You shall not bear false witness,' 'Respect your father and your mother,' and 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' " The young man said to Him, "All these I have watched over from my youth, what do I still lack?" YAHUSHA said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in the shamym. And come, follow Me." Account two of three: Mark 10:17-21 And as He was proceeding on the way, one came running and knelt before Him, and asked Him, "Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit everlasting life?" And YAHUSHA said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except One- the Almighty. You know the Commands, 'Do not commit adultery,' 'Do not murder,' 'Do not steal,' 'Do not bear false witness,' 'Do not defraud,' 'Respect your  father and your mother.' " And he answering, said to Him, "Teacher, all these I have watched over from my youth." And YAHUSHA, looking at him, LOVED HIM, and said to him, "One you lack: Go, sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in the shamym. And come, follow Me, taking up the stake.(emphasis added)  Account three of three: Luke 10:25-28 And see, a certain one learned in the Turah stood up, trying Him, and saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit everlasting life?" And He said to him, "What has been written in the Turah? How do you read it?" And he answering said, " 'You shall love YAHUAH your Mighty One with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and 'love your neighbor as yourself.' " And He said to him, "You have answered rightly. Do this and you shall live." What do you notice about these three accounts? Considering Yahusha is not answering each question identically and is instead referring to famous quotes of Turah, one can easily infer Yahusha is speaking of Turah as a whole! If we keep Turah, and believe that Yahusha is true, we shall live! The quotes of Turah in the Matthew and Mark passages are from Shamuth (Exodus) chapter 20, Uyaqara (Leviticus) chapter 19 and Dabarym (Deut) chapter 5. The passage in Luke is where Yahusha quotes Uyaqara (Lev) chapter 19, verse 18 and 34 and Dabarym (Deut) chapter 6, verse 5; chapter 10, verse 12; and chapter 30, specifically verse 6.

  • Yahusha has a consistent attitude toward the Turah. This next passage does not stray from that consistency. Teacher, which is the great Command in the Turah? And Yahusha said to him, " 'You shall love YAHUAH your Mighty One with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great Command. And the second is like it, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two Commands hang all the Turah and the Nabyaym." -Matthew 22:36-40 Take a look at this parallel passage: And one of the scribes coming near, hearing them reasoning together, knowing that He had answered them well, asked Him, "Which is the first Command of all?" And Yahusha answered him, "The first of all the Commands is, 'Hear, O Yashar'al, YAHUAH our Mighty One, YAHUAH is one. And you shall love YAHUAH your Mighty One with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first Command. And the second, like it, is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other command greater than these." And the scribe said to Him, "Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one Mighty One, and there is no other besides Him. And to love Him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the being, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself, is more than all the burnt offerings and slaughter offerings." And when YAHUSHA saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, "You are not far from the reign of the Almighty." And after that no one dared to question Him. -Mark 12:28-34 The two Commands that are being spoken of can be found in Dabarym (Deut) chapter 6 and Uyaqara (Lev) chapter 19. If these two Commands are figurative "nails" that we are still to be obedient to, what of the rest of the Commands that are "hanging" on them?

  • Yahusha brought a sword with Him in order to divide even to the marrow of our bones. On more than one occasion did He cut into the teachings of those who were supposed to lead the people into truth, the scribes and Pharisees, dividing the meat from the fat; Truth from man-made tradition; Turah from hypocrisy and self-seeking. In the following passages, Yahusha makes a necessary distinction between the truth of Turah and the twisted teachings of those who are supposed to present Turah to the everyday person. The entire chapter of Matthew 23 is relevant to this, but here are verses 1-3, and then 23: Then YAHUSHA spoke to the crowds and to His taught-ones, saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees sit on the seat of Mashah. Therefore, whatever he says to you to guard, guard and do. But do not do according to their works, for they say, and do not do. Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you tithe the anise and cumin, and have neglected the weightier of the Turah: the Right-Ruling and the compassion and the belief. THESE NEED TO HAVE BEEN DONE, WITHOUT NEGLECTING THE OTHERS. Here is a parallel verse Luke 11:42 But woe to you Pharisees, because you tithe the mint and the rue and every plant, and pass by the right-ruling and the love of the Almighty. THESE YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE, WITHOUT LEAVING THE OTHERS UNDONE. (emphasis added)

  • Yahusha completed the Instructions of Yahuah to perfection. Within those Instructions, the Turah, are festivals that all who are obedient to Yahuah are to observe. Did Yahusha ignore such festivals? No! Pasahk, also known as Passover, is one of those festivals. And He said, "Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, 'The Teacher says, "My time is near. I am to observe the Pasahk at your house with My taught-ones." ' " -Matt. 26:18 "And wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, 'The Teacher says, "Where is the guest room in which I am to eat the Pasahk with My taught-ones?" ' "-Mark 14:14 The Turah is not a "Jewish" thing, it is a Creator thing. It is Instruction for all those obedient to His call. In varying religions, including Judaism, the Turah is understood to be Scripture and yet the teachings go forth mixed with man-made tradition. Seeing how in earlier passages Yahusha would not tolerate such mixed teaching, would He observe Pasahk to acknowledge man-made or simply cultural tradition? No! He lived out His Father's Commands and was completely blameless. Where is the Pasahk in Turah? Check out Shamuth (Exodus) chapters 12 and 34, Uyaqara (Leviticus) chapter 23, Bamadabar (Numbers) chapters 9, 28, and 33 and Dabarym (Deuteronomy) chapter 16 for starters.

  • Yahusha is known for using parables, short-metaphoric stories, to teach particular lessons. In Luke chapter 16 verses 19-31 Yahusha tells a profound parable regarding everlasting life and how the Turah and Nabyaym ("Law and the Prophets" in common English translations) play a part. Right before giving this parable, Yahusha speaks on the Turah and the Nabyaym and how these were the only teaching and inspired words before 'John the baptist' came onto the scene. Here are the verses directly preceding the parable, in order to paint a contextual picture: The Turah and the Nabyaym are until Yahukhanan. Since then the reign of the Almighty is being announced, and everyone is doing violence upon it. And it is easier for the shamym and the earth to pass away than for one tittle of the Turah to fall.- Luke 16:16, 17 Yahusha then proceeds to give His parable in the following verses (19-31). While I will not place the entire parable here, it is extremely worthwhile to read. Notably, the end of the parable (coming from the lips of Yahusha ha Mashiahk, no less) reads like this: "And he said, 'No, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they shall repent.' But he said to him, 'If they do not hear Mashah and the Nabyaym, neither would they be persuaded even if one should rise from the dead.' " -Luke 16:30, 31. Deep prophecy is laden within this parable. It is critical to note that Yahusha not only hints at how those who will not heed Mashah and the Nabyaym ("Moses and the Prophets" in common English translations) will not be persuaded to repent, but at how people will not believe even when He himself rises from the dead! Hopefully by now, these many witnesses of Yahusha, having risen from the dead, sheds light on the same message the Nabyaym of old gave to the rebellious world: "Repent! Turn back to the Commands of the Creator, YAHUAH."

  • Yahusha is quoted further in the scrolls of Yahukhanan ("John") speaking on acceptance from the Father and its relation to His Word, the Turah, related to the people of Yashar'al through Mashah ("Moses"). "I have come in my Father's Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive. How are you able to believe, when you are receiving esteem from one another, and the esteem that is from the only Almighty you do not seek? Do not think that I shall accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you: Mashah, in whom you have put your expectation. For if you believed Mashah, you would have believe Me, since he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writings, how shall you believe My Words?" -Yahukhanan 5:43-47. YAHUsha comes in the Name of His Father, YAHUah! Beautiful, right?! But no one will have love for the Father's Name if they do not keep His Commands. You do not bring the Name of YAHUAH your Mighty One to naught, for YAHUAH does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught. -Shamuth (Exo) 20:7. Back to the passage in Yahukhanan, notice what Yahusha says about Mashah. For those who do not know, when Mashah is referred to, as in this instance, it is the Turah that came through Mashah to the children of Yashar'al that is being talked about. Onward! Verses 45 to 47 of Yahukhanan chapter 5 quote Yahusha to say that Mashah prophesied of Him. Not only that, Yahusha goes on to say that those who don't believe Mashah (the Turah) won't believe His Words! Today, this is being fulfilled as there are those who do not believe that the Turah applies to them and in turn, will deny all of these quotes that quite obviously show that Yahusha promoted, taught, and lived out Turah: the Commands of His Father.

  • There is an instance found in Yahukhanan (John) chapter 8:1-11 where Yahusha has a confrontation with the scribes and Pharisees in regards to an adulterous woman. This being a well known passage, many often miss out on the few but wholly important words of Yahusha haMashyahk found in verse 11. Here is also verse 10 for some local context: And YAHUSHA straightening up and seeing no one but the woman, said to her, "Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Did no one condemn you?" And she said, "No one, Master." And YAHUSHA said to her, "Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more." Think on this: Yahusha did not condemn her to death, yet did not say, "Go and be free from the bondage of the law!" NO! NO! Instead He said, "Go and sin no more." He still directed her to obedience. We see that the law being talked about was the Turah (verse 5). Yahusha, our Redeemer, has come to shed for us an atoning blood and be a living example of how to "walk out" the Turah! HalaluYAHUAH! Although, He does not condemn us, He makes sure that we know that we are NOT to sin anymore. What is sin? In case you are unsure, sin is the transgression of the Instructions and Words of YAHUAH: Turah (the written AND Living i.e. Yahusha haMashyahk).

  • Yahusha is quoted to say, "If you love Me, you shall guard My Commands." -Yahukhanan 14:15. What are His Commands? I encourage you to seek this out yourself and answer this: Are not all of Yahusha's Commands originally those of the Father, found in the Turah?

  • These many quotes are from the words of Yahusha haMashyahk, Anointed One, Redeemer of Yashar'al, the nation of those obedient to YAHUAH's Call. Can all of these be misunderstood and instead we are to ignore the Turah and no longer heed it? It is not possible. Yahusha is no liar, as we know He was perfect in regards to the Commands of His Father, YAHUAH, as we will see in this last quote. "If you guard My Commands, you shall stay in My love, even as I have guarded My Father's Commands and stay in His love." -Yahukhanan 15:10 I just have to ask, what Commands did Yahusha keep? What are His Father's Commands? By now, it should be clear, my beloved family of the Spirit of Yahusha. Go forth and bear the witness of Yahusha haMashyahk and guard the Commands of our Father, YAHUAH!
